Heyyyyy and Welcome to Kera Kare!

Getting straight to it: Kera- is the root word from Keratin, a clearly super important protein, since God copy and pasted it in so many different areas of biology - hair, skin, and nails. He even sprinkled some of it in the animals hair/fur, hooves, feathers, horns, scales, and claws. So, the inspiration of our name is highlighting this beloved protein Keratin.  

My name is Keshia and my faith as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ plays a key role in every aspect of my life, including my practice as a Nurse.

As a wound, ostomy and continence nursing (WOCN) student, I want to share some interesting topics I am learning about, from cool products, interesting conditions in the WOC world, providing more information about my personal experience on this journey, and most importantly how my faith plays into it all for me.

I will include evidenced base sources and articles, for those of my fellow research nerds 🤓🧐 who want to dive deeper into the science behind whatever topic we will be talking about!

As I live every aspect of my life unto my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I'll be sharing projects and creative inspirations that He lays on my heart to bring in this world!
